Crane Mechanic - Level A

Job Overview

Conduct the maintenance preventive corrective and breakdown of all cranes, QCs and RTGs in the most efficient and effective manner making sure that jobs are done in the quickest and most cost effective way keeping in mind quality and safety protocols.

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault finding and monitoring of the QCs, RTGs and other related equipment.
• Conduct all preventive and corrective maintenance activities meticulously and ensure all items in the checklist are completed within the stipulated times.
• Ensure all preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance is conducted as defined in the system.
• Attend breakdowns as reported by staff and Equipment Control on an immediate basis, without direct supervision.
• Provide accurate, up-to‑date information in the work order and coordinate its generation with the optimization team for all mechanical work performed on the cranes. <...
