The role involves courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx Canada service features and provide related customer service functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma / educational equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
Customer-Oriented Business Experience (1 year preferred)
- Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
