Responsibilities
- Act as Avvoka's country manager in Manila, translating our culture into local values and ways of working that the team owns
- Build a strong, cohesive local team culture across engineering and document automation specialists
- Operate across altitudes - one moment on office strategy, the next on the detail of a single clause
- Interpret client drafts and precedent documents, making expert judgements on clause-level logic, optional provisions, and variable content
- Produce clear, structured markup in the department's standard format
- Shape questionnaire structure and questions for end users
- Join client calls to walk through source documents and clarify requirements
- Act as the reference point for markup interpretation for the QA and Template Developer teams
- Support in-house lawyer on people and commercial contract matters as they arise
