The Cost Estimator will perform cost estimate preparation for all Gate and Funding milestones for projects. They are expected to participate in Estimating Group process efficiency tools and quality assurance review process improvements.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 would be responsible for developing cost estimates
- Engage with project team and functional team, including planner and scheduler and Client’s accounting staff
- Assist in development of C&SE deliverables (Cost and Schedule Estimate, estimate basis documents, benchmarking analysis, etc.)
- Previous oil and gas cost estimating experience
- Strong technical mentoring skills
- Strong cost estimating skillset, including industry programs (e.g., ASPEN, etc.)
- Identifies capital efficiency opportunities and risks on projects
- Minimal travel within Alberta may be requir...
