Cost Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
Cost accounting, general accounting and financial knowledge required
Provide accurate and timely inventory and costing reports
Partner with operations teams to analyze inventory for potential excess and obsolete reserves, make related entries in accordance with company's policies
Review accounting and costing entries, including account reconciliations
Oversee annual physical inventory process in accordance with company's inventory policies
Provide explanations for key variances in cost, volumes, PPV and cost drivers
Supervise plant counts and review inventory levels for finished goods, work in process and raw materials
Analyze standard costs and review the roll-ups for new products and new production operations as well as investigate/resolve large variance
Lead the annual standard cost roll-up
Attendance in internal and external audits
Be responsible for manufacturing plant costs
