Corrosion Technician III (New Glasgow)

What You Will Do

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot natural gas pipeline facilities, including cathodic protection systems, corrosion control methods, and pipeline integrity technologies.
• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned facilities.
• Conduct electrical surveys, atmospheric corrosion inspections, and electrical isolation testing.
• Maintain and monitor cathodic protection equipment and related systems.
• Identify pipeline components (pipe, valves, fittings) and assess system conditions using measurement tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., PHMSA, EPA) through adherence to SOPs and O&M manuals.

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Certified tradesperson or certified technical designation.
