Become an integral part of our cooking team as a part-time Cook focused on dietary management. Prepare a variety of meals for residents, ensuring compliance with health standards and regulations.
As a Cook under the Dietary Manager, your duties will include preparing therapeutic and regular meals, maintaining cooking standards, and adjusting menus when necessary. You will educate and guide Dietary Aides and ensure meal service meets residents’ needs effectively. Your role is crucial in maintaining quality and timelines in meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare menu items using established procedures
• Cook and serve evening meals, sauces, and desserts
• Ensure meals are presented on time at proper temperatures
• Monitor and recommend actions on food supply quality
• Guide Dietary Aides in food preparation and serving
