The Cook is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious and well-balanced meals for the Sisters, lay partners, and visitors, ensuring that all food is prepared with cleanliness, care, and in accordance with the dietary needs of the religious community.

The Cook is also in charge of marketing or purchasing fresh and quality ingredients, managing the inventory of kitchen supplies, and ensuring proper handling and storage of food items.

Additionally, the Cook maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas, complies with food safety standards, and contributes to the spiritual and physical well-being of the Sisters through dedicated service, a respectful demeanor, and alignment with the values and mission of the SFIC Philippine North Province.
