Job Description
As a Cook (NOC 63200) at Indian Fusion Restaurant Ltd. you will have to perform the following duties:
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Operate a Tandoor (clay oven)
- Cook various breads, vegetarian, and non‑vegetarian items in the tandoor
- Know exact cooking times for all items
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure smooth function
- Clean kitchen and work area as required
- Plan menus per client’s requirements and restaurant demand
- Determine food portions for all dishes
- Introduce new dishes
- Estimate food requirements, costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Train kitchen staff
