J.D. Irving CNB Woodlands is seeking experienced Cooks and Cook Assistants to join out dynamic team at our Deersdale Camp location.
Responsibilities
- Assist Head Cook as required.
- Prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, supper) for a large crew.
- Manage food inventory and supplies, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste.
- Maintain top-notch cleanliness and food safety standards in all kitchen operations.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences whenever possible.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of Culinary Experience
- Experience cooking for large groups, ideally in camp or remote settings.
- Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to changing conditions.
