Wage: $20.19 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Term: Full-time, Permanent
Vacation: 4% Vacation pay (or 10 days) per year
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as donburi, noodles, tempura, teriyaki, and other menu offerings
- Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and seafood
- Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency
- Operate grills, fryers, rice cookers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in developing new menu items or seasonal specials as required
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Follow proper procedures for handling ingredients and food items
- Ensure all equipment, utensils, and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly
