Position Summary
The Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, specification, and support of control systems used in controlled environments (Greenhouses and Controlled Environment Rooms). This role translates project requirements into electrical designs, reviews and approves schematics and Bills of Materials, and validates designs through testing and risk assessment.
Responsibilities
- Design and release control systems for controlled environment products, including drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials.
- Configure software to control Greenhouses and Controlled Environment Rooms.
- Document control sequence of operations used for each project.
- Translate project requirements into engineering specifications.
- Support manufacturing, supply chain, quality, installation, service, and commissioning teams throughout the product lifecycle.
