**MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Controls Engineer**The MES Controls Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing execution and automation systems in a high‐volume discrete manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on real‐time shop‐floor execution, seamless ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) -MES-PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) integration, and sustained production reliability under strict uptime and quality requirements.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**- Provide support for MES-PLC integrations during system launches and periods of constrained production.
- Configure, establish, and maintain MES-to-PLC communications- Integrate MES template routines and user-defined data types (UDTs) into PLC programs.
- Assign, modify, and maintain PLC tags and logic required to send/receive MES transactions.
