Control Reporting Accountant (Xico)

Responsibilities

• Assist with period‑end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and accruals to ensure accuracy of financial statements during period‑end closing, including HFM upload.
• Collaborate with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions.
• Prepare and record income tax journal entries.
• Partner with US Corporate Consolidation Center of Excellence on accounting matters.
• Analyze balance‑sheet reviews to ensure no unexpected financial impacts.
• Execute financial reporting for PepsiCo (Smartview / FDM – HFM).
• Participate in periodic, quarterly, annual and other required reports by the organization.
• Generate clear communication with OU, inter‑company counterparts and other users throughout the region and in the SSC.
• Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Support external audit requests.
