Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for dynamic, results driven individual to join as a Control Engineer.
The Control Engineer develop, support, and optimize control equipment in existing manufacturing and testing processes, as well as in new projects, with the goal of meeting organizational objectives and generating improvement proposals for applied processes and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the necessary software for control equipment.
- Maintain appropriate backups of programs on control equipment.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineering department on actions to optimize control and safety systems.
- Participate in both corrective and preventive actions in response to maintenance-related issues.
- Conduct statistical studies and production line analysis to detect failures and reflect improvement results.
