POSITION MANDATE

Undertakes the research, consultations and analysis required to develop estimates and component pricing for proposals.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Component Pricing

• Interprets documentation, specifications and design drawings to determine material and labor costs for proposals.
• Uses a database to gather and store proposal related data regarding labor costs, materials and production timelines.
• Gathers information from customers, vendors and other sources for pricing. Prepares related pricing for proposals, ensuring adequate and accurate estimates.

Estimating

• Gathers information from customers regarding their needs/requests.
• Interprets information and determines potential proposal components for customers’ specific system(s).
• Prepares estimates for proposals using research and database information on pricing.
