Overview

Responsible for direct implementation of Covenant House philosophy, mission, and policies as they relate to residential care. This 24/7 role supports youth in finding and securing affordable housing, visiting apartments, coordinating furniture assistance, navigating welfare programs, and building a landlord pool.

Responsibilities

• Direct implementation of Covenant House philosophy, mission statement and policies for disconnected, homeless and hard-to‑serve youth
• Complete a housing history and assessment with each youth
• Develop an appropriate housing plan (market rent apartments, co‑ops, or group homes) per Hostel Services guidelines
• Develop an appropriate discharge plan per Hostel Services guidelines
