About the Role
A Contract Manager, Sales based in Madrid, will support Elsevier's sales contracting activity by preparing, reviewing and negotiating sales contracts, amendments, renewals, order forms, terms and conditions and related legal documents. The role also covers support of LATAM Sales and requires working closely with Sales, Legal, Account Support and Finance to enable compliant commercial outcomes, a strong customer experience and operational efficiency. The position is based in our Madrid office.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating sales contracts and related documents, including order forms, amendments, renewals and customer terms, in line with Elsevier templates, fallback positions, policies, and approval requirements.
- Supporting Legal and Sales by identifying non‑standard terms, missing protections, approval requirements and other contracting risks, and presenting them clearly and early.
