Job Description

NAIT's Civil Engineering Technology program focuses on real-world issues and practical skills. Instructional assignments will support students with hands‑on learning applying computer‑aided design and drafting (CADD) systems to civil engineering problems in the areas of structural design, urban services design, highway design, pavement design, geotechnical design, project management and applied research.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, empathetic, and student‑focused instructor with a demonstrated commitment to motivating learners and supporting academic achievement. They will bring strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with proven experience delivering adult education in a post‑secondary or skills‑based learning environment. Proficiency with a variety of computer programs and systems, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, is essential.
