Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of actuarial valuations and funding projections for various defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain robust audit trails
  • Assist in the annual production of audited financial statements and ensure high accuracy.
  • Assist with federal and provincial government regulatory filings and ensure adherence to pension legislation.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in reporting workflows, including through Excel automation.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in an actuarial or pension-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel formulas, VBA, Word, and PowerPoint).
