The Role
Facilities, Maintenance and Operations is seeking a Construction Safety Assistant for a summer student term from June 29, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Duties may include:
Health and Safety Support the OHS and Risk Officer on collaborating with external contractors on their safety programs, and assisting with project inspections Attend worksite safety sessions with external contractors and follow up on NWP actions items assigned Helping coordinate contractors or access at the Grande Prairie and Fairview Campuses in relation to projects and activities Assist with education and awareness for students, faculty, and staff at all levels of the organization to implement short- and long-term Health and Safety plans and processes Assist and attend internal worksite safety inspections...
