Construction Inspector
Location: Greater Toronto Area (Field-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (occasional overtime may be required)
Position Overview
Our client in the public sector is seeking a Construction Inspector to support the inspection and oversight of ongoing capital construction projects across a network of transit facilities, including stations, bus terminals, and related infrastructure. This is a highly field-oriented role requiring travel to multiple active construction sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area, often visiting 2–3 locations per day .
The successful candidate will provide inspection services and limited contract administration support to ensure projects are delivered safely, in compliance with contract requirements, and to established quality standards while minimizing impacts to the public and facility users.
