Job Description
This role focuses on performing minor repairs, cleaning, and preparation of moving and storage containers in a warehouse environment. You will follow detailed work orders, use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks, and ensure each container meets quality standards before it is moved to the outdoor yard for storage by a lift operator.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review work orders for each container, understanding the required repairs, cleaning tasks, and expected completion time.
- Perform minor repairs on containers, including replacing sheet metal panels and completing basic painting tasks as needed.
- Clean and prepare containers by sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring interiors and exteriors are presentable when no structural repairs are required....
