Construction Estimator (US Construction Firm, WFH)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in construction estimating
• Public works construction experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, bid documents, and addenda
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and trade scopes
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Experience reviewing subcontractor proposals and identifying scope gaps or exclusions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and cloud-based document management
• Experience with estimating software such as Procore, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms is a plus
