Construction Estimator - One Year Contract

GFL is hiring an Estimator for our Estimating and Projects Department. This contract position will engage in cost estimation, vendor negotiation, and site inspections to support our projects.
The role requires a reliable professional with 3-5 years of dedicated estimating experience in the construction sector, ideally with a focus on industrial services. You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for complex projects and conducting site visits to confirm field conditions and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create accurate cost estimates for projects from $200,000 to $10 million
• Review project blueprints and specifications for comprehensive analysis
• Visit sites regularly to gather data and verify measurements
• Solicit and negotiate vendor quotes to ensure cost efficiency
