Conservation Biologist
The Wek’èezhìı Renewable Resources Board, established through the Tlicho Agreement, has authority for wildlife, plant, and forest management in Wek’èezhìı. The Board is presently seeking a full‑time Conservation Biologist to join their team for an 18‑month term (May 6, 2024 to November 7, 2025).
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Conservation Biologist will provide scientific research, monitoring, and management advice to and on behalf of the Board on species at risk, plants, forests, and protected areas. Flexible working hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, are required. This position requires frequent travel, including small aircraft, to all communities within Wek’èezhìı.
