Found Description
Sloyd has a proprietary 3D kernel, a 3D parametric engine built for creative usages. It’s unique in that it has an automated UV mapping for shapes and that it’s built for fast creation. With the kernel users create 3D geometric primitives, splines and 3D surfaces. The rest of our stack: AI, procedural, authoring and rendering systems are built on top of the kernel.
As a mid/sr graphic programmer you work directly on Sloyd’s kernel. You will write code for new shapes and improve existing ones. You will simplify code and document it. You will work on automated tessellation, on normals and automated UVs. You will also build interfaces and widgets for artists to use those shapes.
To be successful at this job you have to be really passionate about geometry and you need to be comfortable with working independently on math problems and algorithms where there is sometimes not a lot of industry documentation.
