Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CFD Engineer to support a Next Generation Aerospace Program focused on detailed design and CFD analysis of nacelle ventilation systems. The role involves end-to-end engineering activities including CFD evaluations, thermal and airflow analysis, detailed mechanical design, supplier coordination, and engineering change execution within a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform CFD evaluations and airflow/thermal simulations for nacelle ventilation systems.
2. Conduct engineering calculations using:
   • Hand calculations and 1D analytical models
   • ANSYS CFX simulations
3. Thermal and ventilation performance assessments
4. Prepare detailed CFD and engineering calculation reports.
5. Develop detailed mechanical designs in line with PDR (Preliminary Design Review) requirements.
