Compressor Mechanical Senior Engineer

Position Summary

Turbofan Compressor Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the stress & dynamic/thermomechanical analysis of the turbofan compressors and other structures within the turbofan development programs. This role requires expert knowledge in mechanical design, integrity, gas turbine propulsion, Front Frame/IGV/Booster/LPC/HPC.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and capitalize methodologies to design and validate HPC/LPC modules. Support the development of methodologies and chain of software, including automated computational analysis/reports.
• Design and optimize the turbofan components, modules and sub‑systems for life, weight, manufacturability and cost.
• Carry out thermo‑mechanical and dynamic simulations at design, off‑design and far off‑design conditions to ensure safety and operability. Carry out creep, LCF/HCF and fracture assessments.
