The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is looking for a full-time Community Wellness Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager of Community Wellness, the Community Wellness Coordinator will collaboratively facilitate the envisioning, implementation, and evaluation of Shakiwayniwayhk (Embrace): Substance Use Recovery Program. The Substance Use Recovery Program is an expansion of the Opioid Recovery Wrap‑Around Support Program. Grounded in Métis culture, history, and person‑centred, trauma‑informed care, the Community Wellness Coordinator is a crucial touchpoint in supporting and advancing the wellbeing of Métis Albertans on their recovery journey.
