Cheshire Homes Society of BC is recruiting for an ASL Fluent- CasualCommunity Support Workers in the Burnaby area.

We have a client that requires an American Sign Language (ASL) FluentCommunity Support Worker in Burnaby. The successful candidate will be paired with this client and have the opportunity to pick up additional English speaking clients based on contract availability.

In consultation with the Program Manager, the Community Support Worker provides life skills training and support services for persons with disabilities, including acquired brain injuries, regarding issues such as personal care and other aspects of daily living, access to community leisure programs, housekeeping duties, planning and preparing meals, booking medical appointments and organizing and supporting a client to follow through with a weekly schedule with one or more brain injured clients living in t...
