Community-Focused Youth Worker Positions

Join Inuuqatigiit Centre as a part-time Youth Worker in Ottawa, supporting Inuit youth through engaging programs. Deliver activities that foster community and cultural connection.
The Inuuqatigiit Centre is looking for two dedicated Youth Workers for their Youth Life Promotion Program. Working closely with the Manager of Community Initiatives and Mental Health, you will assist in creating and delivering essential activities for youth. Your role will include supervision, collaboration, and effective communication with the program team to ensure a successful, safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning youth-oriented activities and events
• Supervise and engage with youth participants
• Communicate any program needs to the Coordinator
• Serve meals and snacks during activities
• Maintain a clean and safe program area
Requirements:
• Must be working towards a High School diploma
• Vulnerable Sector Check is necessary
