About the role
Northern Star has engaged SCEE Electrical to undertake the full lifecycle of the upgrade and installation, cabling, integration, testing and commissioning of security, and room access controls for a gold processing plant at KCGM in Kalgoorlie.
Scope of works
- Supply and install 41 security cameras mounted on swivel poles
- Install power and communications cabling for network connectivity
- Configure and integrate the existing CCTV/security management system
- Upgrade room access control additions throughout the recently upgraded/expanded process plant
- Install local field junction boxes adjacent to grouped cameras
- Install power and backbone fibre optic cabling in continuous conduit from the nearest network panel or DB
- Working at heights in an elevated work platform
