Commissioning Engineer (EN-EL-MO-2026-30-GRAP)

Join CERN's Electrical Engineering team to support the operation and commissioning of its electrical transmission and distribution network. We are looking for a motivated electrical engineer with experience in power system testing and commissioning, and solid knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage installations and protection systems. You will play a key role in delivering new and upgraded infrastructure during CERN's Long Shutdown 3 and beyond.

Your responsibilities

• Lead or co‑lead commissioning of HV and LV electrical systems including switchgears, transformers, circuit breakers, UPS, 48 V DC systems and protection relays.
• Develop commissioning procedures, test plans and risk assessments.
• Execute advanced commissioning tests covering protection logic, SCADA communication and interlocking functions.
