Commis Chef

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and cooking of dishes under senior chefs supervision.
• Prepare ingredients such as chopping, cutting and portioning food items.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and monitor freshness.
• Adhere to food safety hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Support inventory control and report stock shortages.
• Assist kitchen team during service operations to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1–3 years experience as Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
