Commis Chef - Breakfast / Room Service Kitchen

Shangri-La Sydney is the city's leading luxury hotel. Located in the historic Rocks district between the Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge, our hotel offers 564 spacious and inspired luxury guests’ rooms and suites, four food & beverage outlets including Altitude our signature restaurant.

We are currently looking for a part-time Commis Chef to join our In Room Dining / Breakfast culinary team. 

We are looking for passionate and eager individuals with at least 2 years experience within an upmarket a la carte restaurant or 5 Star Hotel operation and previous experience at a Commis Chef level. You will be determined to present and serve dishes of the highest quality and be passionate about using season produce and using your refined skillset. You must possess excellent communications skills whilst able to work in a busy environment.

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is mandatory for all positions.
