Commercial Drafting Manager - WFH

About the role:

Leadership & Resource Management:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 14 drafting resources (including 2 AU-based drafters), fostering a culture of high performance and hard work.
• Workflow Optimization: Allocate drafting resources effectively, manage project priorities, and ensure the team meets all strict delivery timelines.
• Hands‑on Contribution: Maintain an active, hands‑on role in the drafting process when required, setting the technical standard for the team.

Commercial & Financial Management:

• Budget Accountability: Manage and monitor drafting hours against project allowances to ensure profitability.
• Variation Management: Identify scope creep, confidently push back on unauthorized variations, and ensure all changes are commercially accounted for.
