Overview
The Commercial Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and converting high ‑ quality prospects into new commercial banking clients. The target market consists of companies with annual revenues between $50MM and $800MM. This individual will serve as a frontline growth engine—building relationships, developing a strategic pipeline, and partnering with internal teams to deliver tailored banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
+ Identify and source potential commercial clients through targeted market research, referrals, COI networks, industry intelligence, and event participation.
+ Develop and execute a structured prospecting strategy to build and maintain a high ‑ quality pipeline of new business opportunities.
