Commercial Assistant

Primarily assist in the execution of the coal purchasing process. This includes coordinating with the operations team, coal traders and suppliers, ship brokers, customs brokers, vessel owners, banks and other stakeholders to ensure smooth & timely delivery of coal shipments and to maintain optimal inventory levels. The Commercial will likewise assist the Commercial Department in handling other commercial issues and tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Coordination

• Assist in the execution of coal purchase orders and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Liaise with coal suppliers and consultants to confirm specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate for customs and regulatory compliance.

Shipping & Logistics

• Coordinate with operations team, coal suppliers, ship brokers and vessel owners for chartering and scheduling of shipments.
