Combined Laboratory / X‑Ray Technologist I

Responsible for providing high‑quality direct patient care while performing manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, cardiology procedures, and related duties following ACCLXT standards. Works all shifts and provides on‑call coverage with a 30‑minute response time.

Responsibilities

Perform procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging, including collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X‑ray examinations, ECGs, and reporting results. Prepare patients, perform venipuncture and micropuncture, maintain equipment, manage supplies, and perform quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X‑Ray Technology (CLXT).
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X‑Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
