The town of Fort Macleod is located approximately 100kms south of Calgary and 50kms west of Lethbridge, Alberta. This laboratory and diagnostic imaging department is located within the Fort Macleod Health Centre and serves the town of 3000 people as well as its vast surrounding farming area. Fort Macleod's main street was declared a Provincial Historic Landmark and is close to other such sites including Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump and Frank Slide.
