The Collections Representative will be responsible for sending customer statements, following a structured collections workflow, monitoring AR inboxes, and driving timely resolution of open items. The Collections Representative will support collections across our distribution business, primarily collecting from retail customers in New York.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Collections Representative shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Send and manage customer statements on a defined schedule and ad hoc as needed
- Execute collections workflows: outreach, tracking, dispute routing, and follow-through
- Monitor and manage AR email inbox (remittances, inquiries, backup requests, discrepancy questions) and ensure timely responses
- Follow up on payment status, remittance advice, short pays, and deductions
