Co-op, Firmware Engineering

Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on industrial automation and digital transformation. The Firmware Engineering Intern role is a 12 month co‑op program based in Cambridge, ON, where interns work full‑time on site and not eligible for relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware
• Product testing and certification
• Coding activities in C/C++ and/or MATLAB/Simulink
• Maintain and develop test setups
• Maintain firmware metrics
• Document firmware applications and components
• Research new technologies

Essentials

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
• Graduation date December2027 or later
• Legal authorization to work in Canada; no visa sponsorship
• Located within 50miles of Rockwell Automation’s Cambridge, ON office
