CNC Programming Engineer. 5 Axis

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands on shop floor support for issues and problems that can’t be solved quickly or efficiently otherwise. Working together and keeping the jobs moving is key.
• Support production floor on CNC program issues.
• CNC programming. Generate CNC programs for new part numbers.
• CNC Re-Programing. Required when product needs to run in a different machine.
• Generate Set Up procedures for new part numbers. Cutting tools, Holding Fixtures, Sequence of operation, ETC.
• CNC Programs improvement. Old programs or programs that are defective and generate defect parts or not efficient.
• Verification of Work Orders. Material type and thickness to be the proper one that will be used in production.
• Tool verification. Tools to be updated with any possible Engineering Change.
• Design and Fabrication of holding fixtures for new part numbers.
