CNC Programmer

Purpose:

Translates design drawings of remote control (RC) parts into digital instructions (code) for the CNC machine. to figure out the best way to cut materials used to manufacture parts

Skills and Requirements:

• National Certificate: Engineering Machining (NQF L5)
• Proficient in Fusion 360 CAM Programming, Fanuc and Siemens controls (Essential)
• Minimum 4-8 years
• Programming 8 CNC machines
• Availability to work overtime
• Adhere to Health and Safety Requirements
• Reporting to the MD

Duties include:

• Using Fusion 360 create the 3D shapes and map out precise tool paths.
• Translate design drawings into digital instructions (code) for the CNC machine. to figure out the best way to cut materials used to manufacture parts
