CNC machinist programmer assoc- Operator

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, program, operate, and maintain the set‑ups of conventional and CNC machines and tools.
• Perform a variety of machining operations and modify or write CNC programs when required.
• Provide lower‑level programming and machining support.
• Write and prove out CNC programs as needed, typically with a low level of complexity and two‑ or three‑axis tool paths.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose processes to eliminate variability.
• Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Assist and instruct others in proper set‑up procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and free from safety hazards.
• Maintain an acceptable level of quality and efficiency.
