As part of Smiths Group, you will leverage your technical skills in CNC milling and turning. We seek a candidate with over five years of relevant experience and a strong background in reading blueprints and tolerances. You'll be responsible for setting up machines, modifying programs, and ensuring quality control across your tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and run CNC Milling and Turning machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines
• Assist in machine repairs as needed
• Train and support other CNC operators
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 2 years technical training
• Over 5 years machining experience
• Proficient in CNC programming and manual operations
• Strong attention to detail and quality
