Responsibilities
- Categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information from patient medical records
- Ensure quality submission of data in specified registries or measure data repositories
- Prioritize and meet tight deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks
- Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) and registry/case entry tools
- Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, and abstraction guidelines
- Stay updated on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements
Requirements
- At least 1 year of direct Core Measures and Sepsis abstraction experience within the last calendar year
- Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, One Note, and SharePoint)
