Cloud Engineer – Cloud Migration

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for the hands‑on migration of on‑premise virtual machines and infrastructure workloads to Microsoft Azure. This role supports migration execution, validation, troubleshooting, and post‑migration stabilization under the guidance of the Technical Lead.

In addition, the role operates within a managed services environment, ensuring operational stability by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents across infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

VM Migration Execution

• Perform hands‑on migration of virtual machines from on‑premise environments to Azure using Azure Migrate and related tools.
• Support migration activities including discovery, assessment, replication, testing, and cutover.
• Execute migration strategies such as rehost (lift‑and‑shift) and assist with replatforming where required.
