Job Summary
Dynacare is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Assistant in Brampton, Ontario to support routine specimen processing, perform simple non‑interpretive tests, and maintain quality control and laboratory equipment. The role is a contract full‑time position (8 months) with Monday‑Friday shifts and rotational weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
- Perform simple non‑interpretive tests under the technical oversight of a Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Run quality control checks and ensure standards are met
- Escalate results requiring support to a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Participate in all quality assurance programs and adhere to Ministry of Health guidelines
- Maintain laboratory equipment, document troubleshooting and routine maintenance, and report malfunctions
